This was a spectacular large but faint prominence on the North Eastern Limb, one of my favourite shots.

Taken in good seeing, this image sends out magnetic field feelings of this "involved" prominence group. Click to enlarge.

Here we see the spot group imaged with a Herschel Wedge with strong ND filters , plus a baader green solar continum filter plus an essential IR block filter.
